A group of high school cheerleaders from Weber high School in Utah are finding themselves in hot water after video surfaced online of them chanting the words “F*ck N*ggers.”
According to reports, the video was recorded during fall break in 2016. It was just recently shared privately, before some students took the video and made it public.
In the video in question, five female students (juniors and seniors, three of whom are on the cheerleading squad), can be seen yelling those words while driving in a car. Apparently the girls were actually saying “serggin cuff,” but they reversed the video before posting so that it sounds like they’re really saying “f*ck n*ggers.”
While they may not have actually said the words, the girls in the video knew very well what they were doing, and it sounds like they’ll be facing some severe consequences as a result.
Potential consequences for the video’s content ranges from counseling to expulsion. In a separate statement quoted by the Root Wednesday, a spokesperson said the district wanted to “remind everyone that these are kids, and sometimes kids do really stupid things without thinking.”
Here’s the video in question that has been making the rounds on social media. It obviously contains some very offensive language and is NSFW:
