UFC 216 fight card: Full list of undercard matches leading up to Ferguson vs. Lee

UFC 216 is a packed card, and we have all the info you need to follow along

UFC 216: Ferguson vs. Lee is almost here, and it promises to be one of the best cards in awhile, provided it doesn’t lose any of its top fights. Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee will face each other in the main event for the interim UFC Lightweight Championship, while Demetrious Johnson will put his UFC Flyweight Championship on the line against Ray Borg.

Saturday’s pay-per-view card begins at 10 p.m. ET and can be purchased through your cable or satellite provider or even from UFC directly. The prelims will start at 6 p.m. on UFC Fight Pass, and will continue on FX at 8 p.m. until the main card gets underway.

Ferguson has been on a tear of late, and is favored against Lee. There’s no telling when the winner of the fight might actually face Conor McGregor, the current champion of that division, due to his future in the sport generally being up in the air.

Johnson and Borg have had their fight cancelled in the past due to health issues. Should this go down, it’s Johnson’s chance to earn the UFC record for consecutive title defenses. Right now he is tied at 10, and is heavily favored to beat Borg on Saturday, which would give him 11.

Johnson has legitimate claim to the to pound-for-pound fighter in the world title as well. His winning streak includes wins over Wilson Reis, Henry Cejudo, John Dodson and others. Borg his beaten Louis Smolka and Jussier Formiga in his last two bouts.

Fabricio Werdum will try and get back in the win column after losing to Alistair Overeem in his last fight, as well. Werdum will be taking on the talented Derrick Lewis, who is also coming off a loss in the form of a fourth-round knockout at the hands of Mark Hunt.

The main card will open with a lightweight bout between Beneil Dariush and Evan Dunham, and will also feature a women’s flyweight match between Kalindra Faria and Mara Romero Borella. It’s a strong undercard overall, and the preliminary card includes big names like John Moraga, Thales Leites, Brad Tavares, and Bobby Green.
