Andrew Bogut’s time in Cleveland is not off to a good start and may be over before it ever really started. Bogut was in the game for a total of 58 seconds before making contact with Okaro White. Bogut went down immediately and was carried off the court by teammates. The first round of x-rays showed that Bogut did indeed fracture his tibia.
Initial x-rays and evaluation on Andrew Bogut revealed fractured left tibia; was taken to Cleveland Clinic for further imaging & evaluation.

This is Bogut’s first game with the Cavaliers. He was traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the 76ers, who then waived him. Once Bogut cleared waivers, he ultimately chose to sign with the Cavaliers. In order to get Bogut, the team cut Jordan McRae. It’s possible that the Cavaliers will waive him after this.
Bogut missed the last two games of the NBA Finals in 2016 due to multiple bone bruises to his left knee when he was still with the Warriors. The Warriors traded him last summer to Dallas.
