This is one heck of a Piesman moment play. Late in the second quarter of Temple vs No. 21 USF, Owls defensive lineman Jacob Martin gave his team their first touchdown of the night when he strip-sacked Bulls quarterback Quinton Flowers and returned it to the house.

The score cut the Bulls’ lead to 20-7, so Temple has a bit of momentum as it heads to the locker room at Raymond James Stadium. Martin is a senior who finished with 18 tackles and 2.5 sacks last season.

For a play to be Piesman-worthy, the only requirement is that the player who scores the touchdown has to be a lineman, for those of you thinking Martin looks in very good shape, which he does! This was a great heads-up from him to not only strip-sack Flowers but then successfully run it back to the house.
