Fantasy implications of Sam Bradford being out for Vikings vs. Bucs

The Vikings offense is in a world of hurt with Sam Bradford out.

The Minnesota Vikings will once again be without Sam Bradford, as the team ruled him out for Week 3 due to his lingering knee issue.

This injury popped up following Minnesota’s Week 1 win over New Orleans, when Bradford completed 27 passes for 346 yards and three scores. That performance still has him ranked No. 1 in fantasy points per game among quarterbacks.

Bradford being out has a major impact on all of Minnesota’s offensive weapons, which was painfully evident in its Week 2 loss at Pittsburgh. With Case Keenum at quarterback, the Vikings could muster up just 237 yards of total offense and three field goals in a 26-9 loss. Keenum will get the start again this week when Minnesota hosts the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Impact: As long as Bradford is out, keep Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen on the bench. Kyle Rudolph is still a low-end tight end play, as Keenum often looks for short and safe throws. Dalvin Cook is still a solid starter as your second running back or flex play.
