Wembley Stadium is the temporary new home of Tottenham Hotspur while White Hart Lane is rebuilt from the ground up, and on Sunday they play their first home match in their new and glorious grounds against the defending Premier League champions in Chelsea.

Spurs and Chelsea have built up quite a rivalry over the last few years, and this season they’re going to be going blow for blow in the title race. But with the top end of the EPL table looking very crowded, neither team can afford to drop many points this season, especially not against each other. That means both clubs will be going absolutely all-out, and the high stakes means that we should get an excellent match from two top-shelf clubs.

Tottenham Hotspur are still a little battered and bruised coming into this match, with Kevin Trippier facing a late fitness test to get cleared to play, and each of Derrick Rose, Erik Lamela, and Georges Kevin N’Koudou still out for at least several more weeks. Chelsea, meanwhile, will still be without Eden Hazard, while Pedro and new signing Tiemoue Bakayoko will be in doubt.
